Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable/receivable processing
- Assist with monthly reconciliation of bank accounts and credit card statements
- Prepare financial statements and reports for client review
- Support tax preparation processes including data entry and documentation
- Conduct account research and resolve discrepancies
- Collaborate with senior accountants on client deliverables
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of professional accounting experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel essential)
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
