Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Assist with monthly and quarterly closing processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Perform general ledger reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
- Support tax preparation and compliance activities for corporate clients
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage bank reconciliations
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) for data entry and reporting
- Collaborate with senior accountants on audit preparation and documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 0-2 years of professional accounting experience (internships accepted)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Relevant coursework in financial accounting and taxation preferred
