Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and account reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
- Support the month-end and year-end close process by gathering and analyzing financial data.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with a focus on timely and accurate processing.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation for external auditors.
- Maintain and organize physical and electronic filed documents and records.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data and report findings to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, or internship experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
