Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records including general ledger entries and reconciliations
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparation
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with precision
- Conduct bank reconciliations and variance analysis for client accounts
- Support audit preparations and documentation requests
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for data entry and financial analysis
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special financial projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP and PivotTables)
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial terminology
- Excellent attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
