As an Entry Level Accountant, you'll gain hands-on experience in financial reporting, reconciliation, and compliance while working alongside seasoned CPAs. Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Perform monthly account reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable processing and invoice verification
- Support audit preparation by compiling documentation and schedules
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) for data entry and reporting
- Contribute to month-end closing processes and variance analysis
- Adhere to GAAP standards and internal control procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 0-2 years of accounting experience (internships acceptable)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of tax preparation principles (a plus)
