Responsibilities
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to identify discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and spreadsheets.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions and maintain supporting documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and compliance filings.
- Support the senior accounting team with ad-hoc projects and data analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to detect errors in data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
