Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements while ensuring compliance with GAAP standards
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles, including invoice processing and payment verification
- Support internal audits and regulatory compliance initiatives
- Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software (QuickBooks/SAP proficiency preferred)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Document accounting procedures and contribute to process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates encouraged)
- 0-2 years of accounting experience through internships or entry-level roles
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and basic accounting concepts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced formula knowledge (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- QuickBooks or ERP software experience preferred
