Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting including balance sheets and income statements
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with precision
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
- Support tax preparation and compliance documentation
- Contribute to internal audits and financial controls implementation
- Utilize accounting software (Sage/QuickBooks) for data entry and analysis
- Prepare variance reports and assist in budget monitoring processes
Qualifications
- Recent graduate in Accounting, Finance, or related field (2:1 or above)
- Basic understanding of UK GAAP and accounting principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Experience with accounting software (Sage/QuickBooks preferred)
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Proactive problem-solving approach
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
