Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end closing procedures including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for internal and external stakeholders
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and maintain general ledger accuracy
- Support audit preparations and ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/ERP) for transaction processing and reporting
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes through data analysis
- Document financial processes and maintain organized digital filing systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (0-2 years experience)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, formulas)
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
- Strong attention to detail with high numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- QuickBooks or ERP software familiarity preferred
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license for occasional client meetings
