Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle payroll process for a diverse employee base, ensuring accurate and timely disbursement of wages.
  • Ensure strict compliance with federal, state (DC), and local tax regulations, including FLSA and wage and hour laws.
  • Process time and attendance data, resolve discrepancies, and prepare necessary adjustments for payroll.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing or a similar accounting/HR role.
  • Proficiency in payroll software (ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian Dayforce, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), FICA tax regulations, and DC-specific payroll mandates.
