Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (AZ, CA, NV)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and union dues with 100% accuracy
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare month-end/year-end reports
- Respond to payroll inquiries within 24 hours and resolve discrepancies
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
- Implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent proficiency
- Deep knowledge of FLSA, AZ labor laws, and IRS regulations
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros)
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven ability to meet strict deadlines with 99.9% accuracy
- Experience with time and attendance systems (Kronos preferred)
