Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts receivable/payable, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for diverse client portfolios
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance for small to medium businesses
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online workflows for operational efficiency
- Collaborate with CPAs during audits and ensure SOX compliance adherence
- Develop customized financial reporting dashboards for client stakeholders
- Lead month-end closing processes with zero material error tolerance
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online certification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred but not required)
- Proven expertise in multi-entity accounting and complex reconciliations
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Deep understanding of GAAP principles and IRS tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with 99.9% accuracy in financial reporting
- Strong communication skills translating financial concepts for non-finance leaders
