Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and ensure timely tax filings in compliance with federal/state regulations
- Generate monthly financial reports and assist with budget preparation/analysis
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve payment discrepancies efficiently
- Support audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries
- Utilize QuickBooks and MS Excel for data entry, reporting, and financial analysis
- Adhere to GAAP standards and implement internal controls for financial integrity
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with night-shift exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, MS Excel, and accounting software
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification a plus
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shifts
- Proven experience in full-cycle accounting and financial reporting
