Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close procedures
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow) with actionable insights for stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and industry-specific financial standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and implement cost-saving initiatives
- Oversee payroll processing and tax filings to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Conduct internal audits and financial controls to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate settings
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, reconciliation, and regulatory compliance
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into strategic recommendations
