Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end closing
- Prepare financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow) in compliance with GAAP
- Conduct account reconciliations and variance analysis for 15+ client portfolios
- Assist with annual audits and tax preparation processes
- Implement and improve financial controls and reporting systems
- Collaborate with department heads on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and Excel
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting or public accounting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (advanced functions), and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills for client and stakeholder interactions
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proven experience with month-end closing and reconciliations
