Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes and financial reporting for Illinois client portfolios
- Prepare and analyze balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct account reconciliations and internal control audits
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial workflows
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and Illinois state regulations
- Lead tax preparation processes for corporate clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of public or corporate accounting experience
- CPA certification or active pursuit preferred
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (advanced functions)
- Experience with Illinois tax regulations and compliance
