Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable processes with high accuracy and speed.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger account reviews.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures and reporting deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and accounting standards.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve cash flow management and financial processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred but not required).
- 3+ years of progressive experience in general accounting, bookkeeping, or tax preparation.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and MS Excel (Advanced).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
