Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close procedures including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and variance analysis for executive leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles with 3-way matching protocols
- Conduct internal audits and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with tax department for quarterly compliance filings
- Maintain SOX controls documentation and testing
- Lead financial modeling for budget forecasting scenarios
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in tech/finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Excel
- Proven audit/reconciliation track record with Big 4 or equivalent
- Expertise in GAAP and multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- Daily pay system experience preferred
