Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounts payable and receivable operations to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
- Perform comprehensive bank reconciliations and variance analysis on a monthly basis.
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded in compliance with GAAP.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including P&L statements and balance sheets, for executive review.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings, coordinating with external auditors and tax consultants.
- Utilize financial software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to streamline accounting processes and generate accurate reports.
- Ensure all financial documentation is organized, secure, and easily accessible for audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect discrepancies and errors in financial data.
- Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while meeting strict deadlines.
