Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping and financial record-keeping for client portfolios
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheets, income statements)
- Process accounts payable/receivable with daily reconciliation
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing procedures
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Provide financial reporting and variance analysis to stakeholders
- Implement and maintain internal accounting controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax compliance
