Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations including accounts payable/receivable
- Prepare financial statements and reconcile bank accounts
- Process payroll and tax filings for small business clients
- Conduct month-end closing procedures with accuracy
- Provide financial analysis and budget support
- Maintain organized digital financial records using QuickBooks
- Collaborate with clients to resolve accounting discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of tax preparation and payroll processing
