Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable invoices with high accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, ledgers, and general ledger accounts.
- Perform bank reconciliations and assist in month-end close processes.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and quarterly reports.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) to manage financial data.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments regarding billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience as an Accountant or Bookkeeper (1-3 years minimum).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and basic tax regulations.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
