Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with accurate P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles with digital invoicing and payment processing
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions daily to maintain real-time financial visibility
- Support multi-state tax compliance filings and sales remittances for Kentucky businesses
- Implement QuickBooks cloud solutions for client financial data management
- Conduct internal audits to identify discrepancies and improve financial controls
- Generate ad-hoc financial reports for executive decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in public or corporate settings
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Microsoft Excel with pivot tables
- Proven track record of meeting daily deadlines with 100% accuracy on financial deliverables
- Strong understanding of GAAP, FASB, and Kentucky state tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail in reconciliations
- Ability to manage multiple client portfolios simultaneously
- Valid Kentucky CPA license or active pursuit thereof
