Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management accounts
- Ensure VAT and tax compliance with HMRC regulations
- Process payroll and employee expense reimbursements
- Conduct bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasting
- Assist with audits and financial investigations
- Implement and improve accounting systems and controls
Qualifications
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in accounting or finance role
- Proficient in Xero, QuickBooks, and Excel
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and tax legislation
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Experience with multi-currency transactions
- Proven problem-solving abilities
