Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with UK GAAP
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and reconcile bank transactions
- Process payroll with same-day payment options for contractors
- Assist in month-end closing procedures and variance analysis
- Maintain digital financial records using Xero and QuickBooks platforms
- Support tax preparation and HMRC compliance documentation
- Generate financial reports for client stakeholders with daily payment summaries
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent UK accounting certification
- Minimum 3 years experience in UK financial reporting
- Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage accounting software
- Strong understanding of UK tax regulations and HMRC procedures
- Exceptional attention to detail with numerical accuracy
