Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
- Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Assist with the monthly and year-end close processes to ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Perform variance analysis and assist in budget preparation and forecasting.
- Ensure all financial data is entered accurately into the company's ERP system.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external auditors when required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in general ledger accounting or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA certification is a plus).
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of US tax regulations and financial compliance standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
