Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions on a weekly basis.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports.
- Assist with the preparation of annual tax returns and compliance filings.
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and fixed asset schedules.
- Collaborate with management to improve financial processes and profitability.
- Process payroll and expense reports accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
