Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries are accurate and timely.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and P&L.
- Perform comprehensive bank reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and tax laws.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and provide financial forecasting to management.
- Reconcile credit card statements and manage expense reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional designation is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
