Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure all tax filings are submitted on time.
- Conduct monthly financial close procedures and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and budget forecasting.
- Ensure all financial processes adhere to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and MS Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
