Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable with daily reconciliation
- Process payroll and ensure tax compliance (CA state regulations)
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for financial data management
- Provide financial insights to support business decision-making
- Maintain organized financial records in compliance with GAAP
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 2+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of California tax regulations
- Ability to meet tight deadlines with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and client interaction skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple financial tasks daily
- Valid California driver's license for client site visits
