Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP/AR, payroll processing, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations for multi-entity clients
- Implement process improvements using QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel modeling
- Coordinate audits and tax documentation with external partners
- Develop cash flow forecasts and budget analysis for decision support
- Maintain internal controls and SOX compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of public or corporate accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and financial reporting software
- Demonstrated experience with multi-state tax compliance and audits
- Certification in QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor or equivalent
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in a contract environment
