Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with 99.9% accuracy
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles for 50+ clients
- Execute month-end closing procedures within tight deadlines
- Conduct reconciliations for complex multi-entity accounts
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks/Xero workflows
- Provide ad-hoc financial modeling for executive leadership
- Ensure SOX compliance documentation is audit-ready
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance + 3+ years experience
- CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Xero/NetSuite
- Proven track record with multi-state tax filings
- Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Power Query)
- Experience with construction/nonprofit accounting a plus
