Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Conduct audits and ensure internal controls meet regulatory standards
- Develop financial models and forecast revenue/cash flow projections
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes
- Implement QuickBooks and other accounting software solutions
- Prepare tax documentation and support IRS audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks, Excel, and financial reporting software
- Proven ability to manage multi-state compliance (NM/IL focus)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with daily payroll processing systems
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
