In this role, you will be the backbone of our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile daily bank statements, credit card transactions, and general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Prepare and review monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and audit support.
- Maintain the fixed asset register and ensure proper depreciation schedules are in place.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to streamline financial workflows.
- Collaborate with the management team to provide financial insights and budget recommendations.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional accounting experience.
- Proven proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect discrepancies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
