Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy.
  • Process payroll for multiple clients, ensuring all tax withholdings and deductions are calculated correctly.
  • Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and perform month-end and year-end close procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding account status and financial inquiries.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
