Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements and credit data to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit recommendations and risk assessments for portfolio review
- Monitor existing credit facilities and ensure compliance with lending policies
- Collaborate with commercial banking teams to structure credit solutions
- Generate monthly portfolio performance reports and trend analyses
- Stay current on industry regulations affecting credit risk management
- Develop risk mitigation strategies for high-exposure accounts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3+ years of credit analysis or underwriting experience
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and Excel
- Expertise in credit risk assessment methodologies
- Familiarity with banking regulations (Regulation E, BSA/AML)
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Valid California driver's license for client site visits
