Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements and credit data to determine applicant creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit reports and risk assessments for loan committees
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and risk mitigation
- Collaborate with commercial lenders to structure optimal financing solutions
- Stay updated on industry regulations and credit policies
- Present findings to senior management through clear, concise reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of credit analysis or underwriting experience
- Proficiency in financial modeling and Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
- Strong knowledge of credit scoring models and risk assessment frameworks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and make sound decisions
- Professional certification (CFA, CRCM) preferred
