Responsibilities
- Analyze creditworthiness of corporate and individual clients using financial statements, market trends, and risk assessment models
- Prepare comprehensive credit reports and recommendations for loan approval committees
- Monitor existing credit portfolios and identify potential risks or opportunities for restructuring
- Collaborate with investment banking teams to structure complex financial solutions
- Stay current on regulatory compliance (FCRA, BSA) and industry best practices
- Present findings to senior stakeholders using data visualization tools
- Develop predictive models for default probability and loss forecasting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of credit analysis or commercial underwriting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis tools
- Strong understanding of cash flow analysis, leverage ratios, and industry risk factors
- Credit certification (CRCM, CCE) or equivalent experience
