Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analysis of financial statements, credit reports, and borrower data to assess creditworthiness and risk profiles.
- Prepare detailed credit memos and recommendations for loan approval or denial based on established guidelines.
- Monitor existing accounts and proactively identify early warning signs of financial distress.
- Collaborate with underwriting teams to structure loan terms and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM and loan origination systems.
- Assist in the development and implementation of credit policy improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to participate in a structured paid training curriculum.
