Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analysis of loan applications and credit profiles to determine risk levels.
- Review financial statements, tax returns, and other documentation to assess borrower capacity.
- Prepare and maintain detailed credit memos and reports for management review.
- Monitor existing accounts for early warning signs of financial distress.
- Collaborate with the underwriting team to recommend approval or denial decisions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in credit analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (equivalent experience considered).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
