Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analysis of financial statements and credit reports to determine creditworthiness.
- Prepare detailed credit memos and recommendation reports for senior underwriting teams.
- Monitor customer accounts for early warning signs of financial distress and delinquency.
- Collaborate with sales and collections teams to resolve complex credit issues.
- Maintain and update internal credit risk models and databases.
- Assist in the implementation of new credit policies and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in credit analysis or risk assessment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and credit scoring software.
- Strong understanding of financial ratios, cash flow analysis, and risk management principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly.
