- Financial Reporting: Prepare detailed credit memos and recommendations for credit committees.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all credit decisions adhere to federal and state banking regulations.
- Portfolio Management: Monitor existing accounts for signs of financial distress or changing risk levels.
- Collaboration: Work closely with loan officers and underwriters to streamline the approval process.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or financial analysis.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detecting discrepancies in financial data.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex data clearly.
- Licensure: Familiarity with FCRA and other relevant compliance regulations.
