Responsibilities
- Financial Analysis: Evaluate loan applications and financial statements to determine credit risk and borrower capacity.
- Risk Assessment: Monitor portfolio performance and identify early warning signs of delinquency or default.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate credit files and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Reporting: Generate detailed credit reports and present findings to the underwriting committee.
- Due Diligence: Conduct thorough background checks and verify documentation for all credit requests.
- Collaboration: Work closely with relationship managers to provide strategic credit recommendations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in credit analysis, financial analysis, or banking.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), and experience with financial modeling software.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
