Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to evaluate borrower creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments for loan committees
- Monitor existing portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with lending teams to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay current with industry regulations and compliance requirements
- Develop predictive models for credit risk forecasting
- Present findings to senior management with actionable recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and credit risk methodologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills for presenting complex financial data
