Responsibilities
- Analyze Credit Applications: Conduct thorough reviews of loan applications, financial statements, and credit reports to assess borrower risk and creditworthiness.
- Monitor Accounts: Regularly review account status to identify delinquencies and recommend appropriate action plans to minimize risk.
- Prepare Reports: Generate comprehensive credit memos and monthly reports for management review, highlighting key trends and risk factors.
- Compliance Management: Ensure all credit decisions and processes adhere to federal, state, and internal compliance regulations.
- Client Communication: Interact with clients and internal stakeholders to clarify financial data and resolve discrepancies.
- Data Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the credit management system.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or a similar financial role.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential) and experience with credit scoring software.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
