Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements and creditworthiness of commercial clients using advanced modeling techniques
- Prepare detailed credit recommendations with risk assessments and mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure complex financing solutions
- Maintain accurate credit documentation while ensuring regulatory compliance (SOX, GAAP)
- Monitor portfolio performance and identify early warning indicators
- Present findings to senior leadership through data-driven visualizations
- Develop innovative credit scoring algorithms using Excel, SQL, and Python
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Expertise in financial statement analysis and ratio interpretation
- Proficiency in credit risk software (e.g., Moody's Analytics, RiskPro)
- Advanced Excel skills with VBA experience
- Strong understanding of FICO scoring and credit bureau reporting
- Credit Risk Management Certification (CRCM) or equivalent
- Exceptional communication skills for client-facing interactions
