Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess applicant risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments for loan committees
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with loan officers to structure credit solutions aligned with client needs
- Utilize provided financial modeling software to forecast scenarios and stress-test portfolios
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and internal credit policies
- Generate monthly performance reports for senior management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools (provided by company)
- Strong understanding of cash flow analysis, collateral valuation, and covenant structures
- Credit certification (CRCM, CCE) or willingness to obtain
