Responsibilities
- Perform Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough analysis of financial statements, credit reports, and cash flow projections to evaluate the creditworthiness of potential and existing clients.
- Underwriting: Prepare detailed credit memos and underwriting reports, recommending approval, denial, or counter-offers for loan applications.
- Portfolio Monitoring: Regularly review and monitor the performance of the credit portfolio to identify early warning signs of default or financial distress.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all credit decisions and documentation adhere to internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with relationship managers and loan officers to provide expert credit advice and support the sales process.
- Reporting: Generate and maintain accurate reports regarding credit exposure and portfolio health for senior management.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or financial analysis.
