Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and cash flow projections to assess borrower viability
- Prepare detailed credit memos summarizing risk assessments and recommendations
- Monitor existing portfolios for compliance and early identification of potential risks
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay updated on industry regulations and economic trends affecting credit decisions
- Present findings to credit committees with clear, data-driven insights
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking or financial services
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and Excel (advanced functions)
- Deep understanding of credit principles, risk assessment methodologies, and regulatory frameworks
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Credit certification (CRCM or CCE) preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
