Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit memoranda documenting risk assessments and lending recommendations
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk identification
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay current with industry regulations and economic trends affecting credit markets
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of credit analysis experience in commercial lending or financial services
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial ratios, and credit risk frameworks
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills for presenting complex financial information
- Professional certification (CRCM, CMB, or similar) preferred
